The Local Serbisyo Caravan of the DILG is part of the agency’s mandate in implementing Executive Order No. 70 or the Whole of Nation Approach to End Local Communist Armed Conflict in remote areas.
Regional Director Jonathan Paul Leusen said the barangay is one of the 17 target barangays under Retooled Community Support program (RCSP) in the locality.
He also said the RCSP aims to address the primary and secondary issues in the barangay thru the implementation of projects.
He further encouraged the LGU to fast-track the implementation of SBDP projects for the barangays and their residents to reap and enjoy the benefits of the program.
Meanwhile, Panninan Punong Barangay Robert T. Torino expressed his gratitude to the municipal government of San Mariano and to national government agencies present for the services they offered during the caravan.
Among the activities conducted are feeding, free medical mission, free haircut, distribution of family food packs, distribution of purifying water tablets, processing of confirmation for employment, and several other programs that benefitted the residents. (OTB/MGE/PIA Isabela)
