TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite (PIA) – The local government of Naic thru the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) Naic held the Bokashi or better known as Mabuhay Balls which are made of fermented clay soil and minerals that contain millions of micro-organisms.
This innovative method uses Bokashi or better known as Mabuhay Balls which are made of fermented clay soil and minerals that contain millions of micro-organisms that will revive rivers to make them conducive for all kinds of fish and marine life. It also helps to multiply plankton which is a natural food of fish as well as to remove the unpleasant smell of the water.
On his official FB page, Mayor Dualan was quoted as saying that the purpose of this program is “to revive and beautify the rivers and creeks in the locality with the help of innovative methods to address problems concerning the environment.”
The LGU officials and other concerned agency representatives are optimistic about the success of the program and appeal to the residents to be heroic, disciplined, and an environmentalist. (RBF/PIA-Cavite with reports from the Municipality of Naic)
