DILG Isabela Provincial Director Engr. Corazon Toribio together with Cabagan Mayor Christopher Mamauag and other local officials officially inaugurated the three projects under FY 2021 Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Assistance Programs (DRRAP) and Financial to LGUs (FALGU) both under the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) of DILG.
The infrastructure projects that were inaugurated were the evacuation center cum quarantine facility in barangays San Juan and Cansan, and the rehabilitation of the Don Francisco Albano provincial road.
The evacuation centers are expected to 5, 800 Cabaguenos in times of calamities.
Mamauag expressed his thanks in behalf of LGU Cabagan to the DILG for allowing funds in the construction of the two important buildings and the rehabilitation of the provincial road in the town which will greatly help in times of calamities. (MDCT/MGE/PIA Isabela)
