Ocampo said the university is set to showcase its investment potential as a designated Investment Priority Area through the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) and the Bureau of Investment (BOI).
She said the conference will provide a platform for the university to secure investments for its "Knowledge, Innovation, and Information Technology (KIST) Park," a Special Economic Zone Development Project across its four campuses: ISU Echague Main Campus, ISU City of Ilagan, ISU Cabagan, and ISU Roxas.
ISU President Dr. Ricmar Aquino expressed his thanks and pledged his full support to the opportunity, stating that the CAExpo will provide a platform for ISU to not only secure investments but also position itself as a center for academic excellence for foreign students.
“The CAExpo will serve as a catalyst for ISU to reach new heights in its mission to educate future leaders and industry players in ASEAN,” Aquino said.
He said this will be the first international exposition that Isabela State University to be participated in wherein the university aims to showcase its strength in trade, tourism, and investment on a global stage and secure investments to propel the development of its Special Economic Zone Development Projects.
