DAGUPAN CITY (PIA) – Want to know your crush's status?
Take a hint this Valentine's Day as the Supreme Student Council of Pangasinan State University (PSU)-Bayambang Campus has asked students, faculty members and staff to wear color-coded clothes depending on their relationship status.
“Let us have fun expressing our love status in life by wearing the designated color of where we stand in love relationships. Join the vibe because it is your chance to see if the person you are eyeing is free and single!,” the council said in a Facebook post.
Those who are happily married get to wear white this Tuesday, while those who are proudly in love or in a relationship can wear red.
If your relationship is complicated, you can wear purple and wear gray so everyone knows you put your studies first.
Those who are waiting for someone will have to wear orange while wearing pink means you are in the “friend zone.”
Students, faculty members, and school staff can wear black to show they prioritized work before love.
Single and ready to mingle? Blue is the color for those who fall under this category.
The yellow color signifies the wearer is moving on while those in green have no boyfriend/girlfriend since birth.
Meanwhile in Alaminos City, the legislative department also ordered the officials, officers and staff to wear the color and clothes which represent their relationship status for the celebration of Valentine’s Day.
Acting City Vice Mayor Michelle Segundera issued a dress code memorandum last Friday to “foster positive vibes in the workplace by providing some cheerful relief during the celebration of the day of hearts.”
In the memorandum, the color and attire that will correspond to their status is as follows: Red for taken; Black for take for granted; Pink for strike everywhere; Green for solo for life; White for like a virgin; Brown for “pusong bato”; Gray for confused or undecided; Blue for obedient spouse or partner; Yellow for waiting since birth; Purple for “maraming mahal at maraming nagmamahal”; Polka Dots for “ang love ko, may love na iba”; and Stripes for “lowbat sa pag-ibig”.
