Soldiers undergo 12-day CSIR orientation course

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - At least 39 soldiers from the 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army undergo a 12-day Crime Scene Initial Response (CSIR) Orientation Course initiated by the Police Regional Office (PRO) - 2.

The CSIR started on February 13, 2023 and will end on February 24, 2023 at Camp Marcelo Adduru, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

The said course aims to strengthen the inter-operability of the Philippine Army and PNP in internal security operations and in launching legal actions against the threat to security.

M/Gen. Audrey L Pasia, commander of 5ID, expressed his gratitude to the PNP counterparts from PR0-2 for initiating the orientation training that will capacitate the selected army personnel on their job related to legal aspects.

"This training will help us end local communist armed conflict in our Area of Responsibility," MGen Pasia.

He also encouraged everyone to aspire and work to end the insurgency in Cagayan Valley. (OTB/MGE / PIA Isabela)
