Pres. Marcos’ performance rated ‘very good’ by Filipinos

QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- The Fourth Quarter Social Weather Station (SWS) survey results show that 75 percent or three out of four adult Filipinos are satisfied with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s performance. Meanwhile, 7 percent are dissatisfied and 18 percent are undecided.

The resulting net satisfaction rating is +68 which is the percent satisfied minus the percent dissatisfied. This rating is classified by SWS as very good.

President Marcos' net satisfaction was highest in Mindanao at an excellent +72, followed by very good levels in Balance Luzon at +68, the Visayas at +67, and Metro Manila at +65.

Compared to October 2022 poll results, the gross satisfaction with the Chief Executive’s performance rose from 71 percent while the gross undecided fell from 21 percent. The gross dissatisfaction hardly moved from 8 percent.

The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adults nationwide, 300 each from Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao last December 10-14, 2022.

The President describes the satisfaction result as "encouraging" and it just shows that the Filipinos know what the government is doing for them. The administration “will just keep going and keep everybody informed” about the programs and plans to uplift the lives of everyone. (KSAA – PIA CPSD)
