BACOLOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA)--The Department of Education (DepEd) Division of Lanao del Norte conducted its first Partnership Leadership Seminar cum Presentation of Accomplishment Report, February 16.
The seminar aims to capacitate its stakeholders to maximize the value of partnering through effective collaboration and maintaining long-term relationships for sustainable development.
Director Margarita Ballesteros of the International Cooperation Office, DepEd, shared and discussed strategies for building partnerships in the new normal.
"In the Department of Education, the spirit of partnership is part of the package of our day-to-day journey. Since our government is a policy, we take a look at how we can prioritize education and at the same time foster patriotism and nationalism," said Ballesteros.
Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Rosemarie T. Macesar is thankful to various agencies and LGUs for their unending support for the different programs of the DepEd Division of Lanao del Norte. The said event, which is attended by more than 60 participants from various agencies and LGUs, is also grateful to be one of the instruments in delivering the quality services needed by the DepEd Division of Lanao del Norte.
"Kitang tanan magtinabangay para sa kalambuan diha sa ato ang mga estudyante ilabi na diha sa partnership nato sa pag-umol sa atong mga estudyante para sila mahimong malambuon sa ilahang pag-eskwela ug mahimo sila malampuson sa ilahang ambisyon," said Kapatagan Sangguniang Bayan Member and Committee Head on Education Leonilo Gorecho.
Meanwhile, according to Dr. Mamilawan S. Cali, supervisor of Nunungan and Tangcal, the seminar gave an opportunity to encourage more support from the different institutions and enhance the capability of the teachers.
Moreover, Rasmia M. Cosain, senior education program specialist on networking and social mobilization, expressed her appreciation for the various agencies, partners, and LGUs for their undying support for DepEd.
The participants in the said activity were the Chief of Schools Governance and Operation Division, Chief of Curriculum Implementation Division, Senior Education Program Specialist and Education Program Specialist II, Networking and Social Mobilization, Division Disaster Risk Reduction, and Management Council Coordinators, Public Schools District Supervisors, Coordinating School Principals, Committee Chair on Education from 22 municipalities of Lanao del Norte, Division Alternative Learning System focal persons, and representatives from the Philippine Army, Philippine National Police, World Vision, and Philippine Information Agency.
