TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite (PIA) – The Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (BDRRMO) held another Disaster Preparedness Orientation for registered participants of the city’s Tricycle Operators and Drivers’ Association (TODA) on February 17, 2023 at the Strike Gymnasium.
Around 160 members of the TODA participated in the said training workshop which was a continuation of the previous orientation of the city’s BDRRMO conducted for 1,590 employees of the city government.
Life-saving skills such as resuscitation of individuals in an emergency or disaster situations, as well as a quick response in incidents of choking of adults and babies, were demonstrated.
The program aimed to support the approved City Ordinance NO. 248-2022 also known as the "Bacoor Emergency Response Training Ordinance" and to intensify the practice of Malasakit Sa Bawat Residente of Mayor Strike Revilla.
Mayor Strike Revilla inspired the participants to learn well and be able to apply the skills acquired to serve during times of emergency and disaster. (RBF/PIA-Cavite with reports from the City Government of Bacoor)
