MSMEs open 'Pasundayag kang mga Produkto Antiqueño' bazaar

SAN JOSE, Antique (PIA) - -  The micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Antique staged a display of local products dubbed "Pasundayag kang mga Produkto Antiqueño" Bazaar in Tibiao, Antique.

Department of Trade and Industry-Antique provincial director Engineer Lynna Joy Cardinal said most of the products displayed in the bazaar are from Tibiao town and from other municipalities in northern Antique.

Tibao mayor Klemens Bandoja encouraged the public to support the local MSMEs by patronizing their products located at the Negosyo Center Poblacion, Tibiao, Antique.

The event is also part of the highlights of the "Maninihon Festival" being celebrated in the said town.

The bazaar is conducted with the collective efforts of the Negosyo Center - Antique Northern Clusters composed of Tibiao, Barbaza, Culasi, Sebaste, Pandan, Libertad and Caluya towns and in coordination with the LGU-Tibiao OTOP Office.

Meanwhile, another product display will be set up in the celebration of Panaet Tarambayaw:  Sambayang Festival in Tobias Fornier (southern Antique) on Feb. 23 to 26, 2023.

Cardinal enjoined local buyers and those in the online market to continuously inspire the MSMEs by patronizing their products such as wearables, handicrafts and processed food.

She said that through the mini-fairs and bazaars, DTI-Antique intensifies its "Buy Local" campaign. (JBG/DTI/PIA-Antique)
