Regional Director Lucia Suyu-Alan of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 2 and chairperson of the EPAHP convergence initiative said through the coordination and convergence of essential services provided by the partner agencies, the EPAHP will play a vital role in attaining the national government's thrusts of combating hunger and poverty in the country.

"I am very delighted to have here with us our partners that have signified their intent to ignite synergy of commitments for this program. From 18 partners last year, we now have 25, which is indeed a milestone for the implementation of the region's hunger and poverty alleviation program," Alan said during the ceremonial signing of the agreement.
