QUEZON CITY (PIA) – The Philippine Information Agency (PIA) has been tapped by the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) to share the agency’s strategies and best practices on public information and communication dissemination.
A high-level delegation from the National Defense College of the United Arab Emirates (NDC-UAE) headed by Brigadier Staff Pilot Khalifa Butti Thani Alshamsi is on a field study visit in the Philippines from March 11 to 18, 2023 as part of the efforts of the Philippines and the UAE in strengthening their defense and diplomatic relations.
PIA Director General Ramon Lee-Cualoping III will conduct an Institutional Briefing on Strategies on Public Information.
As a developmental communication agency, PIA plays an important role in linking raising awareness and disseminating appropriate and factual information to the public as part of protecting national security.
The interaction is expected to greatly contribute to the conduct and content of the field study of the NDC-UAE.
This visit is part of NDCP’s efforts to boost its relationships with local and international institutions to develop strong alliances across the defense and security sector. (MVV, PIA-CPSD)
