QUEZON CITY (PIA) -- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has issued important reminders to examinees in preparation for the upcoming Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) on Sunday, March 26, 2023.
To ensure the accuracy of school assignments, examinees are advised to consult the Online Notice of School Assignment (ONSA) available on the CSC website at erpo.csc.gov.ph/eNOSAv3/ or inquire with the relevant CSC Regional Office or Field Office.
Additionally, examinees are strongly recommended to read the 'Examinee's Guide in Taking CSE-PPT' to acquaint themselves with the entire examination process.
Examinees are also encouraged to visit or conduct an ocular inspection of their assigned school prior to the examination day to acquaint themselves with the testing venue, its route/direction, means of public transportation, and travel time.
The CSC also stated that wearing of face masks is mandatory at all times, and examinees will not be allowed to enter the testing venue unless they are wearing one.
The 'No ID Card/Document, No Exam' policy will also be strictly enforced, and examinees must provide a valid ID card on the day of the examination, preferably the same one used during the application process. If the ID card is missing or unavailable, the examinee must present any of the following approved ID cards:
- Driver's License/Temporary Driver's License (LTO O.R. must be presented together with old Driver's License; O.R. alone is not permitted)/Student Driver's Permit;
- Passport;
- PRC License;
- SSS ID;
- GSIS ID (UMID);
- Voter's ID/Voter's Certification; BIR/Taxpayer's ID (ATM type/TIN card type with picture);
- PhilHealth ID (with the bearer's name, clear picture, signature, and PhilHealth number);
- Company/Office ID;
- School ID;
- Police Clearance/Police Clearance Certificate (with picture);
- Postal ID;
- Barangay ID;
- NBI Clearance;
- Seaman's Book;
- HDMF Transaction ID;
- PWD ID;
- Solo Parent ID;
- Senior Citizen's ID; or
- Philippine Identification (PhilID) Card.
The ID cards must be currently valid.
Examinees who were not able to submit a Certificate of Consent/Release/Waiver during the application process must also provide one on the day of the examination.
According to CSC, examinees should also bring their own black ball pen/s for answering the test. Pencils, gel pens, sign pens, fountain pens, friction pens, and other colors of ball pens are not allowed. Examinees are also not allowed to borrow black ball pen/s as a health precaution.
In addition, examinees are allowed to bring alcohol or hand sanitizer not exceeding 100 mL in size, as well as water in a clear or transparent container, and candies or biscuits. However, drinking and eating will only be allowed outside the testing room with the approval of the Room Examiner.
Examinees are also advised to be at their assigned school not later than 6:30 a.m. or as required by the concerned CSC Regional/Field Office. The testing venue will be closed to examinees at exactly 7:45 a.m. Examinees who arrive later than the specified time will not be admitted to take the test.
Proper attire is also required on examination day. Examinees are recommended to wear plain white shirts or tops, while sleeveless shirts/blouses, shorts/short pants, tokong pants, ripped jeans, slippers, and untied long hair are strictly prohibited.
