IPPO to deploy personnel during Lenten season

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO) is now planning its deployment of personnel during the observance of Lenten season in the province.

The IPPO's acting Provincial Director, Col. Julio Go, said that the deployment of police personnel aims to thwart any criminal activities during the Lenten season from April 6 to 9, 2023.

Go said that at least 293 personnel from IPPO will be stationed as additional personnel to strategic areas in the province aside from the personnel from the respective police stations in the localities.

He added that the police personnel will be deployed in places of convergence during the Lenten season like churches, pilgrim sites, terminals, tourist destinations, and even in malls in the province.

Go also stated tjat the police personnel will be accompanying other LGU DRRMCs and other support groups and force multipliers, who will be joining them as a team in ensuring the peace and order in their respective areas.

He said further that aside from the deployment of personnel in strategic areas of the province, there will also continuous conduct of checkpoints, mobile patrols, and beat/foot patrols to ensure a crime-free observance of this year's Lenten season. (MGE / PIA Isabela)
