Kababayen-an ug persons who use drugs mipailawom sa TESDA training

DIPOLOG CITY, Mar. 24 (PIA) - Sa padayon nga pagsaulog sa Women’s Month, ang Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Office mipahigayon og usa ka adlaw nga training sa siomai, tempura, ug fishball making para sa mga Persons Who Use Drugs (PWUDS) ug mga kababayen-an nga gipahigayon sa Covered Court, Barangay Sta. Isabel, ning Dakbayan.

Ang tumong sa maong kalihokan para mapadali ang pagkunhod sa kapobrehon pinaagi sa livelihood skills training programs ug mga serbisyo alang sa women’s economic empowerment pinaagi usab sa pagpausbaw sa kahanas sa pag negosyo aron ma sustiner ang ilang panginabuhi.

Dugang pa, ang kalihokan nagtumong usab sa pagpataas sa kahibalo sa mga kababayen-an bahin sa gender equality ug sa ilang mga katungod.

Emmanuel Dalman Taghoy is the Information Center Manager of the Zamboanga del Norte Information Center and Executive Assistant for Regional Operations of the Philippine Information Agency IX, the country’s chief information arm under the Office of the President.
