BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) - - The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the more than P117 million Flood Control Project (FCP) in Bambang town. 

DPWH Regional Director Reynaldo Alconcel said the FCP located in Barangay Salinas along the Sta. Cruz river will protect villagers from flood-related risks especially during heavy rains.

“With the completion of the Salinas Flood Control project, the community is expected to feel more secure as their agriculture produce is now protected, especially during the rainy season,” he said.

Alconcel said the agricultural properties of the farmers near the project will also be protected, thereby ensuring their productivity all year round.(OTB/BME/PIA NVizcaya)
