BAMBANG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) - -  Representative Luisa ‘Banti’ Cuaresma vowed her support for the Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU).

Cuaresma, who was the guest speaker during the recent NVSU Alumni and Graduate School Day celebration at the university’s Bambang Campus, said project proposals by the premier government university for funding should be submitted  the earliest possible time.

“We were advised already by our House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romuladez to submit project proposals for funding so that it will be included in the upcoming proposed 2024 budget and subsequent deliberations,” she said.

Cuaresma said House Speaker  Romualdez has pledged an initial funding of P50 million for the construction of the Municipal Hall of Bambang town through the request of Mayor Benjamin ‘Jamie’ Cuaresma.

She donated P20,000 for the raffle draw prizes, among others and  urged NVSU to support the upcoming town fiesta of Bambang on April 28-30.

NVSU recently  celebrated its 19 Charter Anniversary from March 20-25 with various programs and activities jointly participated by students, teachers, retirees and alumni members. (OTB/BME/PIA NVizcaya)
