SM Foundation turns over upgraded health facility in Cauayan City

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The SM Foundation, Incorporated and UNIQLO Philippines turned over the newly-renovated health center of Barangay District 1, Cauayan City.

The said upgraded health center was financed by SM Foundation in partnership with UNIQLO Philippines aimed at upgrading the existing health facilities in the barangays to cater to the health needs of the residents.

Krystal Gayle Agbulig, SM City Cauayan Public Relations Manager said the District 1 health center can now deliver quality healthcare, with a modern reception area, lounge, pre-natal room, breastfeeding area, pharmacy, treatment room, consultation room, and dental clinic.

Agbulig said the facility now equipped with new medical tools and equipments, bed, storage cabinet, furniture, air conditioner, television, office table and chairs.

She said the SMFI and UNIQLO also installed mobile play cabinets, which intends to create a restorative and child-friendly environment for young patients. The health facility also received emergency Go Kit+ that will be used even during emergencies or disasters.

Agbulig said the SMFI, through its Health and Medical Programs, upgrades public health centers in its host communities, complemented by its medical caravans across the country.
