CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) -- More than 4,000 families benefited from the food packs provided by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to oil spill-affected fisherfolks and fish vendors in the town of Gloria during the distribution conducted by the local government over the weekend.
Each family food pack (FFP) contains six kilos of rice, four cans of corned beef, four cans of tuna flakes, two cans of sardines, five sachets of coffee, and five sachets of cereal drink, which according to DSWD, are enough for a family of five for two to three days.

Beneficiaries of FFP were from the barangays of Tambong, Kawit, San Antonio, Balete, Sta. Theresa, Guimbonan, Maragooc, and Agsalin.

Dolor led the distribution of food packs together with Gloria Mayor German Rodegerio, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Board Members Roland Ruga and Lito Camo, Sanguniang Bayan Members, OIC Provincial Health Officer Dr. Angela Cielo Ante, PSWD Officer Zarah Magboo and her staff, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO).
