CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro (PIA) -- The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Oriental Mindoro conducted the April 2023 round of the Quarterly Palay Production Survey (PPS) and Corn Production Survey (CPS) in Oriental Mindoro, which lasted on April 12.

The surveys are in accordance with Republic Act No. 10625 or the Philippine Statistical Act of 2013, which authorizes the PSA to prepare and conduct periodic censuses on various sectors of the economy, and Executive Order No. 352 mandating the conduct of the surveys every quarter.

In the province of Oriental Mindoro, Armonia said 300 sample households were interviewed for PPS in the municipalities of Naujan, Bansud, Victoria, Gloria, Baco, Bulalacao, Bongabong, and the City of Calapan while 136 sample households were interviewed for CPS in the municipalities of Naujan, Bulalacao, Gloria, Bongabong, Roxas, and the City of Calapan.

All collected personal data gathered are processed in accordance with the law and other issuances and with full confidentiality, Armonia said.  (LTC/PIA-OrMin)
