QUEZON CITY, (PIA) --The Department of Social Welfare & Development-NCR (DSWD-NCR) seals a collaborative effort for the implementation of Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP).
Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda T. Aguilar, Vice Mayor April Aguilar, Las Piñas CSWD officer-in-charge Lowefe Romulo, Jeremiah Dicen, Livelihood Focal, LGU-Las Piñas, Atty. Michael Joseph J. Lorico (Assistant Regional Director for Administration and Concurrent Officer-in-Charge of DSWD-NCR), Hon. April Aguilar (Vice Mayor, Las Piñas), Ms. Ada A. Colico (Chief of Promotive Services Division, DSWD-NCR), Ms. Esperanza A. Mangoba (SLP-Regional Program Coordinator, DSWD-NCR) signed Memorandum of Agreement, Specific Implementation Agreement (SIA), and Data Sharing Agreement (DSA) on April 18, 2023 at Las Piñas City Hall.
The partnership seals collaborative efforts between DSWD-NCR through Sustainable Livelihood Program and LGU-Las Piñas City in developing and implementing social protection programs that address the needs of the poor, empower citizens, and promote inclusive growth in the City.
SLP is a capacity-building program that helps vulnerable, marginalized, and disadvantaged individuals, families, and communities improve their livelihood assets and capacity to effectively use their resources. (dswd/pia-ncr)
