101 new police officers join Cordillera PNP

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet (PIA) -- A total of 101 new police officers joined the force of Police Regional Office - Cordillera (PRO-Cor) after completing their six-month Public Safety Training Program (PSFTP).


 The PSFTP Class of 2021-02 Pansadagan members received their certificates of completion during their graduation ceremony held at the PRO-Cor Masigasig Grandstand at Camp Bado Dangwa on (April 18, 2023.
 
Class President Pat. Jesus Ganotice II, who delivered the class impression, thanked all those who helped them achieve what they have now.

"The struggles made us stronger, the challenges made us responsible, the hard days molded us to be tougher for almost two years, from strangers to brothers, may this brotherhood be instilled within us wherever we may be and whatever we may become," Ganotice said.

PRO-Cor Chief Regional Staff PCol. Julio Lizardo, in his keynote message, congratulated the new police officers for successfully finishing the training. He underlined that more important than the knowledge and skills taught to the trainees are the values and ideals instilled to them during their training.

He also reiterated the DKP (Dasal at disipilina, Kakayahan, Pagmamahal at pagtupad sa tungkulin), the three-fold agenda of PRO-Cor Regional Director PBGen. David Peredo, Jr.

"I urge each and every one of you, as you go out to the community, always remember that you represent not only yourselves or your families but also our organization and a greater causes for which it stands, that serving others and protecting lives, keeping peace and ensuring security, and preventing and solving crimes," Lizardo said.
