Said COMPAC building worth P3.1 million pesos is funded by the National Police Commission.

The construction of the COMPAC building of Lagawe MPS is also ongoing. The soon-to-rise single-storey building is situated in front of the MAGS office, Poblacion South, Lagawe.

“This precinct will be used by the municipal police station to cater public services for the general welfare of the public and maintenance of peace and order in our area of responsibility,” said Acting Chief of Police Jackson Nginhena of the Lagawe MPS during the groundbreaking ceremony recently conducted in Lagawe.

Nginhena also expressed his gratitude to the local government unit of Lagawe for donating the lot for the construction of the said building.

Said COMPACs will serve as an immediate response center to crime incidents, vehicular accidents, or any emergencies, and the deterrence of crimes because of their strategic location.  #
