VALENCIA, Negros Oriental, April 26 (PIA) -- Valencia town is now all set for the 10th  Chada Valencia celebration which will be held from May 1-31 with the theme Chada Valencia: Uniting Valencianons and the world. 

The month-long event features the opening of a Pasalubong Center which showcases the best of Valencia products from processed foods to handicrafts and arts, food fairs and trade fairs, the search for Chada Mama, Valencia Got Talent, the Garden Show, and many more.

On May 1, Chada Valencia celebration will open with a thanksgiving procession in honor  of the town’s patroness Our Lady of the Abandoned.

Chada Valencia celebrates the bountiful nature’s charm of the town being one of the prime tourist destinations in Negros Oriental. 

Valencia Tourism Officer Des Tilos, Jr. had announced that different activities dedicated to celebrate the richness of culture of the Valencianons have been approved by the Valencia Tourism Council. 

Valencia Mayor Edgar Teves urged the Valencianons to join and support all activities and events related to Chada Valencia celebration. (JCT/PIA7 Negros Oriental)
