ODIONGAN, Romblon (PIA) -- At least 491 Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged / Displaced (TUPAD) workers in Magdiwang, Romblon have received their salary during the celebration of this year's Labor Week.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in Mimaropa region, through its provincial office in Romblon, released a total of P2,614,575 to the beneficiaries on May 1 together with the local government of Magdiwang and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Romblon Provincial Office.

We also remember and honor the sacrifices and tireless efforts of those who came before us that we enjoy the rights and protections we have today," he said.
