MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)--Seeing to it that the accomplishments of the rehabilitation program here will go on, Mayor Majul Gandamra has heartened his constituents to be united and aid the city government in sustaining the projects and programs which have been started.
Gandamra underscored that six years have already passed since the warfare in 2017 trembled this locality but the government, through the Task Force Bangon Marawi (TFBM), still continues to pour out its unwavering support for the healing of all affected residents.
He said that while they have been grateful for all the assistance, locals here should also play their part which is to foster whatever has been established through the restoration efforts.
This, as Gandamra took into consideration that the existence of the task force would not always be present and that it would take its exit in the future.
(We are thankful to the government because it never ceased in supporting us. However, this support may possibly reach its limit.)
Gandamra, nonetheless, stressed that the citizenry should not worry as what is needed is only their unity.
As such, he urged everyone to put their hearts as one to ensure the progressing recovery of the city.
(To sustain all our achieved and enjoyed successes, let us continue helping each other. That is why, I am appealing to you to hopefully continue helping one another for the rise of Marawi City.) (CRG/PIA-10/Lanao del Sur)
