QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The National Museum of the Philippines is set to hold an art appreciation tour at the National Museum of Fine Arts.”
Young creatives (junior high school students from grades 7 to 10) are invited to participate in the fun-filled learning activityand be inspired by contemporary Filipino artists and learn more about the Philippine arts through a special museum tour.
Students will have the chance to unleash their creativity by putting their new-found artistic knowledge to use in an oil pastel painting workshop.
The activity aims to raise awareness on the artworks that are part of the National Fine Arts Collection and strengthen the sense of Filipino pride through the appreciation of Philippine arts and its contribution to society.
The Art Appreciation Tour will be conducted on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Osmeña Hall, 2nd Floor of the National Museum of Fine Arts.
