DPWH completes multi-purpose building in Bambang school

BAMBANG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) - - The Department of Public Workls and Highways (DPWH) has completed the construction of a Multi-Purpose Building inside the Bambang National High School (BNHS) compound here .

Engineer Marlyn Inguillo, DPWH Second Engineering District chief, said that the P2-million infrastructure project is a  significant milestone for the educational institution and the local community.

“It was met with enthusiasm and joy as students, teachers, and officials witnessed this significant achievement. This critical investment aims to enhance the educational experience for students by providing them with a  space for various school activities,” she said.

Inguillo further said that the project was funded under the Regular Infrastructure FY 2022 - Local Infrastructure Program, which involves the  construction of the 14.55 m x 6.65 building.

According to her, completed project will ensure the safety and security of the students and teachers in the wake of adverse weather conditions and a comfortable venues for their various school activities and events such as  commencement exercises, programs, and extracurricular events, among others.

“Students can now enjoy a comfortable and suitable environment, ensuring the smooth execution of their school-related functions. The principal, teachers, and staff members expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the government for prioritizing the welfare and needs of the students,” Inguillo added.

She also stated that the project reflects the government's commitment to delivering quality education and supporting the holistic development of the students by providing quality education and empowering the youth for a brighter future in the province. (BME/PIA NVizcaya)
