ILOILO CITY (PIA) - - The conduct of this year’s Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Level Plan Implementation (MELLPI) on nutrition programs and services of the municipalities/city in the province of Iloilo will start June 1.

As part of the preparations, members of the Provincial Nutrition Committee-Provincial Nutrition Technical Working Group who will also serve as the Provincial Nutrition Evaluation Team (PNET) were re-oriented, May 30, on the guidelines and the monitoring tools for the evaluation.

“As we prepare for the conduct of the MELLPI of our municipalities together with the Nutrition Focal Points of the municipalities/city of our province, hopefully, we will be re-oriented again so that when we visit our partner municipalities, we will all learn and this could be a way to provide technical assistance to them,” said Provincial Health Officer I Dr.  Wendel Marcelo.

Quinon was named as the Outstanding Provincial Nutrition Action Officer in the regional and national levels in 2021.
