TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, (PIA) - - The regional assessment team for the Rafael M. Salas Kaunlarang Pantao Awards (RMSKPA) has recently conducted an on-site validation of the achievements of the respective barangay population workers of Brgy. Poblacion Sur, Maddela, Quirino, and Brgy. San Francisco, Cauayan City, Isabela.

This year’s RMSKPA aims to recognize the efforts of barangay population workers/volunteers in their implementation of projects on responsible parenthood and family planning, adolescent health, and population and development.

Two more barangays, Brgy. Naggasican, Santiago City and Brgy. Marana II, Ilagan City, Isabela, are scheduled to be visited by the assessment team on June 13th.

The awarding for the winners at the regional level will be this July, after which, the qualifiers may compete at the national level.

The RMSKPA assessment team consists of representatives from the regional offices of the Commission of Population and Development, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Health, National Economic and Development Authority, and the Philippine Information Agency. (JKC/PIA-Region 2/Photos from Diana Manangan/CPD-2)
