MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)--Bangsamoro Health Minister Dr. Rizaldy L. Piang congratulated the city government of Marawi and its partners for completing the two-story City Health Unit.
Supported by the Asian Development Bank through the Urban Climate Change Resilience Trust Fund, the facility was inaugurated by health officials, June 7.
"Being a Moro and a Muslim, kung kailangan ng brother mo 'yung (when your brother needs) support, whether he asks for it or not, automatic 'yan na dapat ibigay mo (that's automatic that you should give). And of course, trabaho namin 'yun (that is our job) to do our best to support this facility and the City of Marawi," he said.
He also emphasized that the Ministry of Health is ready to provide support for the operation of the Marawi City Health Unit if needed.
"Kung ano man ang pagkukulang and sa tingin niyo pwedeng maibigay ng region (whatever is lacking and you think the region can provide), don't hesitate to ask us because we will try our best to be able to deliver whatever needs that will arise out of the operation of this facility," he added.
The minister further emphasized that it is good to have reforms in the health delivery system, such as unity and teamwork, to serve the community at large, especially since many will benefit from them.
Mayor Majul Gandamra of Marawi City, City Health Officer Dr. Ali Dalidig, DOH Usec. Abdullah B. Dumama Jr., RDOH-10 Regional Director Dr. Jose R.
