2nd round of Rafael M. Salas Kaunlarang Pantao Awards regional validations concludes

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan (PIA) - - The regional assessment team for the Rafael M. Salas Kaunlarang Pantao Awards (RMSKPA) has conducted a second site visit yesterday, which aims to validate, this time, the achievements of the respective barangay population workers of Brgy. Naggasican, Santiago City, and Brgy. Marana II, City of Ilagan, Isabela.

This RMSKPA for 2023 aims to recognize the efforts of barangay population workers/volunteers in their implementation of projects on responsible parenthood and family planning, adolescent health, and population and development.

On June 5, two barangays in the region were visited earlier, namely Brgy. Poblacion Sur, Maddela, Quirino and Brgy. San Francisco, Cauayan City.

The awarding for the regional  winners will be held this July, after which, the qualifiers may progess to the national level search.

The RMSKPA on-site validation team consisted of representatives from the regional offices of the Commission of Population and Development, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Health, National Economic and Development Authority, and the Philippine Information Agency.
