CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (PIA)--The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT)-10 celebrates its month-long nationwide celebration of National ICT Month by focusing on four main concepts, namely: digital innovation and inclusion, digital governance, digital workforce competitiveness, and digital infrastructure and cybersecurity.

"With this collaboration of activities, we hope that we will have a better national understanding of ICT so we can come up with ways on how we can incorporate ICT into the Local Government Units (LGUs) and strengthen the use of ICT towards development geared towards job employment and job security," DICT-10 Incoming Technical Operations Division Eugene Raposala III shared.

Acknowledging the significant impact of ICT in recent years, Raposala underscored its contribution to improving access to education, healthcare, and government services, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"This time, as we move forward, we have the chance to see that we have a lot of potential within our LGUs and that we have a lot of opportunities that use ICT towards our country’s development," he said.
