DAVAO CITY (PIA) -- Regional Civil Security Unit (RCSU) XI has invited the public, especially gun enthusiasts, to join in the first-ever RCSU shoot-for-a-cause set on June 24, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 P.M. at the Ballistics Firing Range in Maa, Davao City.
PDuring his guesting at the Kapihan sa PIA at NCCC Victoria Plaza, RCSU chief, Policer Col. Richard B. Verceles, said they have also invited gun enthusiasts from Regions 10, 12 and 13, as they were also aiming at promoting the tourist destinations in Davao Region.
The shoot-for-a-cause activity will benefit the charities chosen by the RCSU-XI and the renovation of the RCSU regional office as it is unsafe for occupancy as of the moment due to damage caused by earthquakes.
“The beneficiaries of our shoot-for-a-cause would be for the charity works of the remnants view and for the repair of the RCSU-XI building which have been damaged by the earthquake,” he said.
The RCSU-XI also informed the public that they have recently opened their satellite office located at SM City Davao in Davao City, which caters to clients from Sundays to Mondays.
The one-stop-shop of RCSU-XI provides services to the clients on the processing of the national police clearance and license to own, possessed firearms, and drug tests for the psychiatric exams of aspiring applicants of the Philippine National Police.
“We are bringing our services closer to the people so that they don’t have to go from one office to another, para mapabilis yung process na they would have to undergo,” Verceles added. (FNBD/PIA-XI)
