CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga (PIA) -- Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) members may now access their personal records using their mobile phones.
This is through the GSIS Touch mobile app which provides convenience and ease as it brings together all records and various information about its services.
GSIS Pampanga Branch Frontline Services Division Chief Michelle Reyes shared that through the app, active members, pensioners, and stakeholders are guided with their records, transactions and benefits.
“Because we are already in the digital age revolution or what we call the information age, GSIS is continuously enhancing programs to be closer to its members while delivering fast and convenient services and benefits,” she said.
The app features members’ records, loan details and application, claims records, pensions records, branch locator, and news about GSIS.
It also has the GSIS Citizen’s Charter which contains the step-by-step guide and turnaround time in processing claim benefits, loan privileges and all other transactions.
In addition, Reyes emphasized that active government employees may view their service record or service profile through the application.
“If your salary has increased, you will see if it's updated with GSIS. In addition, you can also track if your premium contributions and loan deductions are being remitted by your agencies,” she explained.
It also provides an access to the claim benefits and overview of tentative computation for your loan privileges and claim benefits.
GSIS Touch is available both on Google Play and Apple App Store.
Members may register by creating an accounting using their BP number and birthdate. (CLJD/JLDC- PIA 3 with Mica Zabala and Lou Manalo, interns)
