“Let us continue to be a platform which the government can rely on in delivering social services, to inspire with stories of hope, and create a community empowered with information,” Governor Singson said.

He likewise expressed his gratitude to the members for helping the government disseminate relevant information to its constituents regarding government projects, programs, and activities.

Dios unay ti agngina (Thank you), for bringing the government closer to the people,” he added.

ISAGIO, Inc. is the association of information officers of the 34 local government units and the provincial offices of the national line agencies in the province.

Governor Singson then affirmed the support of the provincial government to all the pursuits of ISAGIO in its goal to empower our communities through media and technology.

“You are indeed the amplifier of the voices of the masses. I am positive that if we continue working harmoniously with one another to communicate our causes to our communities, to foster inclusivity, and encourage the participation of our people for us to achieve social progress built through a well-informed citizenry as One ISAGIO, One Ilocos Sur!” he ended.

Apart from serving as the guest of honor and speaker during the training-workshop, Governor Singson also led the induction of the newly-elected officers of ISAGIO.

“As information officers, kailangan nating matutunan ang iba't ibang ways how to communicate and disseminate information sa publiko so since video production is one of the creative and quick ways to share information, makakatulong ang training na ito para mas maiparating namin nang maayos ang aming mensahe at maintihan ng mga tao ang gusto naming iparating,” Sabalo said.
