DICT to launch e-Gov PH Super App in Baguio City

BAGUIO CITY (PIA) -- The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) is set to launch the e-Gov PH Super App in Baguio City this July.

The Super App is the Philippines' first one-stop-shop platform for national and local government services that will streamline processes and transactions, and bring  total ease of doing business.

It is an integrated mobile platform for government and public transactions including job application, e-payments and banking services, people's feedback management system, among others.

"We are not only preparing the infrastructure side but also preparing the people on digital transformation," DICT-CAR Regional Director Pinky Jimenez said in a  recent Kapihan here in celebration of  National ICT Month.   

“We will be capacitating government agencies and partner agencies to help us promote this one para po makarating hindi lamang po dito kundi pati sa laylayan ng lipunan,” she added.
 
DICT-CAR Technical Operations Chief Allan Lao assured the secured usage of the Super App. The application has multiple authentication factor ensuring its safe use. The verification process is powered by eGov Artificial Intelligence with electronic know-your-customer capability. 

There are  already 26 government agencies  that signed  memorandum of agreement with the DICT for the integration of their programs and services in the Super App.

The DICT bared  that in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment, Commission on Higher Education, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority and other agencies, citizens can now build their resume to be accessed by local and foreign job providers.

Also, in partnership with the Land Transportation Office, Filipinos may now have a copy of their digital driver's license securely stored under the digital government ID wallet.

Another  feature of the  Super App  is a citizen's feedback mechanism where the public can file complaints or report directly to government agencies and receive urgent responses. (JDP/DEG-PIA CAR)
