BONTOC, Mountain Province(PIA) – The lone state college in the province entered into a memorandum of agreement with different partners to strengthen linkages and extension services advancing education and community development.
The Mountain Province State Polytechnic College(MPPC) thru its president Dr. Edgar G. Cue formalized partnership with the local government unit of Bontoc, barangay LGU-Bontoc Ili, Masla National High School, Otucan -Bila National High School, Bauko Central School, the Philippine National Police, and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration-Cordillera Administrative Region in the MOA Signing Ceremony on June 22, 2023 at the school’s main campus here.

Other partners also expressed their gratitude and support to the collaborations that would advance education and community development.
Congressman Maximo Y. Dalog, Jr., in a posted message, said that the MOA signing will certainly boost the outreach programs and activities in the provision of advanced instruction and professional training in agriculture, science and technology, education, education and other related field.
"I am convinced that if seriously considered and applied properly, the MOA signed today will bring about research and extension services that will provide progressive outreach program beneficial not only to the MPSPC as an institution, or the partner agencies and LGUs concerned but more importantly, the communities covered by the MOA,” he stated.
Cue thanked all its partner agencies and expressed high hopes that the partnership will serve as a venue to address societal challenges and contribute to sustainable development.
"As we have envisioned to transform lives and foster sustainable development, it is the College's commitment to extend higher education services beyond our classrooms by providing expertise, sharing resources, and assisting in knowledge transfer through instruction, research, and innovation," he said.
Mountain Province Police Provincial Director PCOL. Sibly P. Dawiguey, Jr., said he is certain that the partnership will help in identifying a common working ground whereby sharing of resources, ideas, expertise, and other collaborative means to advance their mandates and improve their service.

Also present during the MOA signing were Bontoc Mayor Jerome B. Tudlong Jr., Vice President for Research Development and Extension Epiphania B.
