BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya (PIA) - - The provincial government here has allotted a parking space for its officials and employees within the provincial capitol compound in a bid to provide more spaces for its clients.
Governor Jose Gambito said a vast portion of the PLGU-acquired Calderon Compound beside the provincial capitol has been designated as parking area for PLGU including National government Agency (NGA) workers.
“The provincial capitol with its facilities and equipments came from the taxes paid by the public so it is just proper to provide them spaces to park their vehicles near the offices where they are transacting business and avail of the programs and services of the PLGU as well as NGAs who are housed within the provincial capitol,” he said.
The designation of the temporary parking area for government employees at the Calderon Compound was embodied in Executive Order No. 7 of Gambito.
He also ordered the OPLAN ‘Kalinisan’ Campaign in various PLGU and NGA offices within the provincial capitol compound through the intensified implementation of the Ecological Solid Waste Management Program (ESWMP).
Gambito said PLGU employees were also advised to treat clients who are transacting various services and programs from the provincial government to with utmost respect, humility and assistance.
This was reiterated to the recently appointed, re-appointed and promoted employees of the provincial government as they took their Oath of Office.
Gambito, who was then the Vice Governor of the province took the helm as Governor by law of succession due to the untimely demise of then Governor Carlos Padilla in May 5 this year.(BME/PIA NVizcaya)
