ThinkTech Year 2 benefits mentor-trainers, learners

CABARROGUIS, Quirino (PIA) - - The International Partnership project dubbed as Thinktech Quirino, now on its Year 2 will benefit 10 mentor-trainers from Quirino State University and 40 learners from Diffun National High School, Quirino General High School, Saguday National High School, Pinaripad National High School, and Maddela Comprehensive High School.

The project is an initiative of Monique Cheng, young entrepreneur and founder of ThinkTech Foundation which aims to introduce computer programming and artificial intelligence among young learners.

It is a partnership program among the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Quirino headed by Governor Dakila Carlo E. Cua in collaboration with the Rotary Club ASEANA Manila and Trabaho At Oportunidad or TAO Movement, Quirino State University and DepEd SDO Quirino.

It can be recalled that Year 1 was launched in 2021 with 15 young learners from primary and elementary schools around the province who completed the course PY-Stream using Python, Spider and Jupiter programming, data structuring, file writing and reading, coding, debugging and others.
