BALANGA CITY (PIA) -- Orion Municipal Police Station (MPS) in Bataan was recognized as one of the top-performing police stations in Central Luzon.
 
In the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) for the month of June 2023, Orion MPS ranked second with a total rating of 99.47 percent. 
 
Orion MPS Officer-In-Charge Police Captain Silvestre Colanza, expressed his appreciation for the hard work and dedication of his personnel, acknowledging their relentless efforts in achieving the objectives and targets set for the police station. 
 
“This is the result of the unyielding commitment and dedication of Orion MPS personnel to bring about transformation and change in our law enforcement operations as we continue to do our best to provide the people of Orion with not just safer communities, but also excellent police service," he underscored.
 
Colanza added that the continuous commitment to excellence of his personnel has allowed Orion MPS to emerge as the second-best police unit in Central Luzon's overall ranking.
 
The PNP UPER System was conceptualized as a standard evaluation tool used in assessing the performance of the different PNP units or offices regularly. (CLJD/RPQ-PIA 3)
