AMULUNG, Cagayan (PIA) - - Traffic flow is expected to be smoother along Maharlika Highway in the municipality of Amulung in this province after the Department of Public Works and Highways-Cagayan Third District Engineering Office (DPWH-CTDEO) completed the road widening project here.
The ₱6,549,177.26-worth project started on February 9, 2023, and was completed on April 28, 2023, based on the record of the DPWH.
District Engineer Mariano B. Malupeng said that the completed widening project will enhance connectivity and provide better access to vital services such as healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and markets.
He added that it will contribute to a safer traveling experience for the residents and will accommodate increased vehicular movement.
