QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- The local governments of Parañaque City and Pasay City will be participating in the nationwide Kadiwa ng Pangulo Diskwento Caravan on Monday, July 17.
In Parañaque City, the caravan will be held at the Parañaque City Hall grounds from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 22 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) will be selling farm products at a discounted price.
Kadiwa mobile stores will also be traveling around the city from Monday to Sunday. The schedule is as follows:
- Monday: Raya Gardens in Barangay Merville and Bricktown Subdivision in Barangay Moonwalk
- Wednesday: Area 1, Fourth Estate Subdivision, in Barangay San Antonio, and Phimra Subdivision in Barangay
- Moonwalk; Levitown, Better Living Subdivision in Barangay Don Bosco, and Airport Village in Barangay Moonwalk
- Friday: ROMVI in Barangay Moonwalk and Parañaque City Hall grounds
- Saturday: Aeropark Subdivision in Barangay Don Bosco and Fountain Breeze Condominium in Barangay San Isidro; Petron at Doña Soledad in Barangay Don Bosco and Camella Homes Classic in Barangay Antonio
- Sunday: Kadiwa mobile store at the Petron Station in San Antonio (open from Monday to Sunday)
In Pasay City, the caravan will be held at the Pasay City Hall parking ground.
The Kadiwa ng Pangulo Diskwento Caravan is a government initiative that aims to provide affordable food to the public. The caravan offers a wide variety of farm products, including fruits, vegetables, and meat.
The caravan is also a great opportunity to buy fresh and affordable food. (PIA-NCR)
