2022 annual business survey up in Antique

SAN JOSE, Antique (PIA) -- The survey personnel of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is now undertaking the 2022 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (ASPBI) in different sample establishments in the province.

The 2022 ASPBI is one of the designated statistical activities of the PSA that generates essential statistics for economic planning and analysis.

It is specifically designed to collect and generate information on the levels, structure, performance, and trends of economic activities in the formal sector of the country’s economy.

Provincial Statistics Officer Randy M. Tacogdoy noted that a total of 121 sample establishments are to be interviewed for the 2022 ASPBI.

The sample establishments are given multiple options on how they can respond to the survey.

They can either use the online questionnaire available at aspbi.psa.gov.ph, utilize an electronic questionnaire in either portable document format (.pdf) or excel format (.xlsx), or obtain a printed copy of the questionnaire.

The conduct of the 2022 ASPBI is in accordance with the Republic Act (RA) No. 10625 (Philippine Statistical Act of 2013), which authorizes the PSA to prepare and conduct periodic censuses on various sectors of economy and Executive Order No. 352 mandating the conduct of ASPBI every year.

The results of the 2022 ASPBI are targeted to be released one year after the distribution of questionnaires. (AGP/PSM/PIA Antique with reports from PSA)
