CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - The Provincial Government of Isabela joined the nationwide launch of Kadiwa ng Pangulo held in the province on July 17, 2023, located at the Bambanti Village, Capitol Compound, in this capital city.

The launching was attended and graced by Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Executive Director Narciso Edillo, accompanied by Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Provincial Director Engr. Corazon Toribio, Provincial Administrator, Atty. Noel Manuel Lopez, DTI Isabela OIC Provincial Director Elmer Agorto, TESDA Provincial Director Vilma Cabrera, and department heads of the provincial government

Edillo said the Kadiwa ng Pangulo is a flagship project of the Marcos administration that aims to bring and offer to the Filipino people cheaper, more affordable, accessible, and safe agricultural products produced by farmers and other basic commodities.

He said the Kadiwa ng Pangulo is an avenue where the agricultural produce or commodities of farmers are sold to help market their products at an affordable and cheaper price.

Edillo added that the President wanted that both the Filipino farmers and the consumers will benefit from the commodities that are produced and consumed by the public.

Meanwhile, Provincial Administrator Atty. Noel Manuel Lopez said that the Provincial Government of Isabela is supportive of the advocacy of the national government, which will benefit the people.

He said that Gov. Rodolfo Albano III and Vice Gov. Faustino G. Dy III, including the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, are supportive of establishing the Kadiwa ng Pangulo, knowing that it will surely benefit Isabeleños.

Lopez said that even before the Kadiwa ng Pangulo was launched, the PGI had long been helping not only the farmers but all the sectors in the province that were seeking help and assistance from the government. (MDCT/MGE/PIA Isabela)
