LAGAWE, Ifugao (PIA) - - Forty-one households in a far-flung village in Namal, Asipulo are the latest beneficiaries of the First Ifugao Provincial Mobile Force Company’s (1st IPMFC) “patubig” project.
A team of the 1st IPMFC troops led by PCPT Christopher I Lalan delivered and turned-over to the residents of Sitio Lab-ong the 20-drum capacity stainless water tank, 300 meters plastic hose, and eight bags of cement on July 15.
The water tank and the other materials were pooled from personal monetary contribution of 1st Ifugao PMFC under the supervision of PLtCol Nelson B Madiwo.
The beneficiaries thanked the 1st IPMFC for the delivered assistance that can supply 41 households of the community . They expressed hope that the police officers will help more people in need.
Lab-ong is one of the farthest sitios of Namal, which is listed as End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC) barangay in the municipality.
Before the turnover, the police personnel conducted information drive on Violence Against Women and Their Children , Community Anti-Terrorism Awareness and rape prevention tips.
The turnover of the project and the info drive are part of the 28th Police Community Relations Month celebration with the theme “Serbisyong Nagkakaisa para sa Ligtas at Maunlad na Pamayanan."(JDP/MBL- PIA CAR, Ifugao)
