Baguio City joins  45th NDPR Week observance

BAGUIO CITY (PIA) -- The city government joined  in the observance  of the 45h National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week (NDPR) from July 17-23, 2023.

The theme of this year's celebration is "'Persons with Disabilities Accessibility and Rights: Towards a Sustainable Future Where No One is Left Behind".

Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) Head Samuel Aquino said the observance is part of the mandate of the local government units to honor persons with disability.

In collaboration with different national and local agencies, the PDAO spearheaded various activities for the week that include Arts and Product Exhibits, Play Day for Kids with Disability, stress management and psychological assessment, and the  first  talent competition among PWDs.

Aquino thanked their partners for their support and participation especially  for the PWD sector in the  city.
