Pag-IBIG thankful for PBBM's recognition for their role in uplifting lives of members

QUEZON CITY, (PIA) -- Following the second State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. on Monday, July 24, the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG) expressed its gratitude to the President for recognizing its role in uplifting the lives of its members.

President Marcos, Jr. highlighted the role of the Pag-IBIG Fund in turning the Filipino worker’s dream of homeownership into reality through its home financing and a record-high P117B loan takeout in 2022.

Marcos, Jr.

The President also assured the continued service of Pag-IBIG Fund to help its 15 million members to purchase their own house.

Marcos, Jr. also noted that in 2022, more than 148,000 housing units and over 30,000 certificates of eligibility of lot award were distributed in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao under the different housing programs of the government.

The President also assured that more affordable houses will be available for all, especially for the marginalized.

Meanwhile, Pag-IBIG Fund commits to continue heeding his call of providing excellent service to our fellow Filipinos under a strong and united government.

Last March of this year, President Marcos, Jr. led the ceremonial turnover of 1,380 housing units of the St. Gregory Homes Housing Project in Malabon City, as part of the 4PH program.  (PIA-NCR)
