CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - At least 671,276 Philippine Identification Cards (PhilIDs) were delivered by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)  to Isabeleños.

PSA - Isabela PhilID System focal person Lina Tumolva said during the conduct of 'Usapang Pangkapayapaan, Usapang Pang-Kaunlaran Cagayan Valley' of the Philippine Air Force - Tactical Operations Group (PAF-TOG-2) held on July 21, 2023, that there were 1,281,486 Isabeleños who registered for PhilID.

Tumolva said their office has recorded that there were already delivered 324,200 PhilIDs this year, higher compared to 2022 with a total of 230,357.

She said there were 38, 244 Isabeleño PhilID registrants from January to June 2023.

Meanwhile, Tumolva said their office has started rolling out the issuance of ePhilID to Isabeleños as an alternative ID while waiting for the PhilID delivery.

She said the ePhilIDs issued to individuals can be used as acceptable IDs while transacting in either government or private offices.

Tumolva said there were already a total of 495,745 ePhilIDs issued by their office to Isabeleños. (MDCT/MGE/PIA Isabela)
