4 FRs receive E-CLIP benefits from DILG

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela (PIA) - - At least four Former Rebels in this province recently received their benefits under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

A total of P260,000 were given to the four FRs where each of them received P65,000 as livelihood aid.

DILG Regional Director Agnes De Leon said the package of assistance is given to former rebels who have surrendered to the folds of law.

De Leon advised the former rebels to use the amount for their livelihood.

The E-CLIP aims to provide financial and livelihood assistance, as well as other forms of support to FRs who decided to abandon armed struggle and return to the folds of the law.

The program also aims to facilitate the reintegration of FRs into mainstream society, helping them transition to civilian life, and assisting them in building sustainable livelihoods.
